One TV for two: Sharp’s two-way LCD

By now, this technology must be “old” since the video was uploaded to YouTube in December 2006 and news reports show the technology being unveiled in July 2005! I have no idea what I was doing in July 2005, but this huge TV technology newsbreak seems to have slipped right past me. And now, I’m hearing about it over 2 years later.

Anyway, for those of you like me who haven’t heard yet, this Sharp LCD will allow two people to watch two different TV programs on the same TV set! From the looks of the demonstration in the video above, this technology works pretty well!
