Relient K - Let It Snow Baby…Let It Reindeer

Sometime during the holiday season in 2003, Relient K released a Christmas album entitled Deck The Halls Bruise Your Hand. It had 10 tracks, most of which were modern takes on classic songs done by the band. Honestly, I thought it was a very good album that was quite up to par with their other full-length releases.
Next Tuesday, October 23, Relient K is set to release their next holiday album called Let It Snow Baby…Let It Reindeer (ha, get it?). This new album will reportedly have 17 tracks, 7 of which are new. As you might have guessed, this album is mostly a re-release of Deck The Halls Bruise Your Hand.
The weird thing though, is that the official pre-order website from Relient K only lists 11 songs on the CD (who’s right? I want to say Relient K is…since it’s their own CD…but just about every other site lists 17 songs — even Wikipedia lists 17 tracks). Anyway, I guess we’ll see on Tuesday whether or not Let It Snow Baby…Let It Reindeer will have 7 new tracks to love and cherish! Either way, I’m particularly excited for this “new” release.
The band’s version of “Sleigh Ride” is a wonderful tune! You can listen to it at the Relient K Myspace.
