This is just so sad.

San Diego channel 8 news reporter Larry Himmel reports and watches as his entire house is engulfed in flames and burnt to the ground because of the wildfires in Southern California. [via]

Sign On San Diego has a gallery of photos of the extent of the wildfires. That gallery is appropriately named The Fury of Nature. It looks like the entire city is just blanketed in a cloud of smoke!

If you’re in the Southern California region or know of somebody who is, Google has put together a concise list of Google Maps that you can use to track the fires (and get to safety if needed).
