Mississippi Miracle: Trinity Tigers make 15 lateral passes

For those who don’t know, this is what a lateral pass is, as described in Wikipedia:

In American football a lateral pass or lateral, officially referred to as a backward pass, and an “onside pass” in Canadian football; is a sideways or rearward throwing of the football to a teammate. The pass cannot itself advance the ball, though of course the receiver can advance after catching it. This is distinguished from a forward pass, which moves the ball in the direction of the opponent’s end line.

Of all the sports I have the opportunity to watch, I think I watch football the most. But even so, I don’t really watch that much football. However, I’ll admit that this video was very entertaining.

Already nicknamed the “Mississippi Miracle“, the Trinitiy Tigers managed to complete 15 lateral passes before scoring a touchdown. That’s pretty cool.

This is like the video of The Play that I posted previously here.

Haha, it’s kinda funny if you watch the other team. The other team just couldn’t get up. There was one guy that was lying on the ground flat and who seemed to try to get up but then just collapsed. Then there was another guy that tried to run towards the guy who’s going to score the touchdown in the final run but then gets knocked down and even gets his helmet knocked off. Then defeated, a lot of them just fell to the floor.
