Fit an iPod in a Zune

Remember that internet joke about the Hide-a-Pod iPod protector case? It fooled a lot of people into thinking that it was a real company making iPod cases that looked like Zune players so that chances of theft would be diminished. Unfortunately, Hide-a-Pod was a fake. But some guy went out and decided to make it real…

Aaron Harnly bought a brown Zune, took out all the bits and pieces from its insides, and fit a new iPod nano snug into the Zune housing.

The “Zune” even has a custom home screen (which is about to be outdated since the new Zune firmware with its larger type is about to be released in the coming weeks. Still, this is pretty funny and pretty cool.
