The World In Sydney!

Adam Spencer’s 702 ABC Sydney Breakfast radio show [in Australia] wants the world to meet for breakfast. Well, sorta. According to popular local belief, Sydney is one of the ethnically diverse cities in the world. And to prove this, the 702 Breakfast show wants to have a 2-hour program with at least one person from every country on Earth represented. So far, I guess they are off to a good start with at least 150+ countries RSVP’d for the event.
On Friday November 9 from 6.00am to 8.00am, 702 Breakfast will host the World in Sydney from the ABC Ultimo Centre. Adam will join us for a live broadcast whilst you eat breakfast, meet other World-in-Sydney-siders and listen to great music.
As of right now, The World In Sydney! is short on people from a few places. Most of these missing folks are from North America, Asia, and Europe. The odd thing is that some of these places aren’t even that unheard of, so it’s odd that people from these places in Sydney aren’t showing up for the event. Maybe those people realize that there’s more to life than a 2-hour breakfast with people you don’t even know…
