New Gmail contact list

I like the small updates that have made their way recently into Gmail.
The new chat features are useful, especially when you need to get to past conversations with a certain contact. It’s as easy as two clicks with the mouse.

Also, the new and more robust contact list is a welcome feature. Now I can add more information to individual contacts and manage contact groups a lot easier.
Another neat feature that was previously only available as a Greasemonkey script is the “recent conversations” link when you click “More” as you hover over a contact name inside a Gmail conversation thread. Gmail is slowly getting better…hopefully it’ll drop that stupid ‘beta’ tag soon.
