Liquid stainless steel

Thomas’ Liquid Stainless Steel is stainless steel in a can! If you’ve ever wanted to make everything you own shimmer in stainless steel glory, then Thomas’ Liquid Stainless Steel is your solution. [via]

The paint has microscopic pieces of stainless steel with automotive-grade polymer to simulate the look of actual stainless steel sheets (keep in mind that the paint is actually steel — just not in standard sheets). If what I’m thinking is correct, then this basically means that I can now turn any surface magnetic just by applying some layers of paint.

Thomas’ Liquid Stainless Steel is demonstrated in the video below.

Thomas’ Liquid Stainless Steel comes in a variety of starter kits spanning a wide range of prices. Pretty cool idea if you ask me. I’d love a can of some just to paint the town silver. Super!
