A few of the creative minds behind The Daily Show decided to make a video to better explain the reason why they are on strike. I’ve made a transcript of part of the video below, which I thought was incredibly funny.
Hello there. I’m the president of Viacom. My name is John Jay Viacom Jr III and I’ve come here to tell you to cease and desist. we own these jokes and they’re worth a billion dollars.
Is that right?
Indubitably!
Then can we have just a small percentage of that?
Nope!
Why not?
Because they’re worthless!
