George the 5-pound hedgehog
Hedgehogs are generally pretty small animals. But George here is a 5-pound monster! He’s 4 times the weight of what he should be and is now living in a wildlife sanctuary thanks to his impressive size.
He is so fat that when he eventually sheds the excess weight vets may have to give him a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin.
Staff at the Wildlife Aid centre in Leatherhead, Surrey, have placed him on a controlled diet of cat food in the hope of bringing him down to his ideal weight of 1lb 5oz within six months.
It’s a fitting time for animals to start getting cosmetic surgery! Check out the video of George below!
