Beard Cap revisited

beard-cap1-orig.jpg

Scandinavian Grace, the store in Brooklyn, NY that stocks the Beard Cap (part of the Vik Prjónsdóttir collection), has emailed me with some photos of the Beard Cap.

Also worth noting is that the Beard Cap comes in two colors (light and dark gray) and in two lengths. One is a long beard and the other is a shorter, less full beard. Made of wool, the different versions of the Beard Cap will definitely keep you warm this coming Winter.

Order it over the phone or email through Scandinavian Grace for $135. Or pick it up in the store if you’re in New York.

There’s a pattern on ravelry.com if you’re into knitting your own!! You would have to join the site. I just finished mine the other night.

second the pattern – not paying $135 for a hat unless it is infused with the souls of a thousand vikings.

i’m currently working on a pattern for this. it’s done except for the mustache, which i’m still trying to work out. if anyone has any idea about a knit mustache on the web somewhere it would be greatly appreciated. the pattern will be available by emailing me at giftable@gmail.com hopefully sometime next week.

by the way, i’m making the mustache interchangeable via snaps, so a range of mustache styles are needed. anything is helpful, really!
