What is that?!

What is that?! Find out inside!

It’s a matte black iPod Classic in my room and on my desk! The silver iPod Classic is really nasty. Nasty as in it’s just very ugly and cheap-looking. However, the black iPod Classic, which is in a matte-black (the iPod Video was a shiny black) is absolutely wonderful! It looks so good and classy!
Also, there’s small refinements between this iPod and the iPod that came before it, like a black-colored hold button, a black audio jack, and a black dock connector. Oh yeah, and the 80GB size (which this one is) is slightly thinner than the 30GB iPod Video.
There are some changes to the UI as well that are pretty cool. Off the top of my head I can think of fading scrollbars, the search option, the improved ‘About’ section, menu icons (or accompanying graphics), and easier access to shuffle options. But honestly, the ‘Home’ screen is really annoying with the floating album covers.
