Straight from Britain: The Superdry Kitbag

On Monday morning, Cult.co.uk delivered (via Australia Post) a Superdry Kitbag to my door.

Once again, the Australia Post has woken me up before my alarm has gone off! They come so early in the morning to deliver packages! I guess I can’t complain since they do a very good job of delivering what needs to be delivered. But still, just once I wish they would deliver something at 8:30AM instead of 8AM.

Anyway, the Superdry Kitbag (in orange) is quite nice. My first impression upon unpacking it was that it was a lot bigger than I expected. I tried to describe it to Simon and the only thing I could compare it in size with was a medium-sized cooler.

Click inside to see how big and awesome this Superdry Kitbag is.

Here’s the bag from the front with the large logo type and Japanese characters.

The bag is one large compartment that opens from the tip via a zippered flap. On the inside of the flap is a zippered mesh pocket for storing smaller items so that they don’t get lost in the massive space beneath it.

The bottom side of the Superdry kitbag is non-slip rubber. It’s dually suited for keeping your bag in place and keeping the contents dry in case you need to put it down in the rain or in a shallow puddle.

The entire bag is made from vinyl/wax material (I don’t know exactly what the material is called). The closest thing that I can compare it to is the inside of a messenger bag (like that of a Timbuk2). It feels durable, to say the least. The vinyl/wax exterior also gives the entire kitbag shape even when it’s empty which is pretty neat.

This bag is made to stand horizontally or vertically, with handles and straps on every end to assist in lifting and carrying.

The shoulder strap is padded and has the Superdry logo on it. I’m really liking this orange and white color.

Here’s a peek into the inside of the bag (currently filled with the plastic that it came in). It’s big.

I think the Superdry Kitbag is great. I’ll definitely be using this on my trip to Sydney and Whitsunday Islands at the end of December and into January! Should be fun!

I have just bought this bag aswell (but the army camo with orange text version) for my travelling in summer. Now that the baggage allowence is only 15kg on some flights I think a proper suitcase is just too heavy. I agree with your comments, I cant wait to put it to the test :)

I am looking to purchase a superdry kit bag in the near future. I realise that it’s been nearly a year since this was posted and was just wondering whether there was any update as to how the bag is doing after a year of use and how you have found it to be? =P

Hi. I am going to America and would like a fairly large bag. This bag looks very big but could you give a rough estimate on how many litres this bag can hold as nowhere seems to have it. Thanks

I’ve seen this bag without buyin it, and that’s was an error because I’m looking now for purchasing this one! Do you know the model number, or where I could buy it?

    Thanks a lot.
