A waitress has refused to be classified as disabled even though she was born with feet that face backwards.
Wang Fang, 27, of Chongqing city in China, was born with her feet facing the wrong way, but has learned to live with her condition without problems and recently refused a disability pension.
Talk about overcoming an obstacle! Wang Fang sounds like she’d be a pretty good motivational speaker.

It’s hard to say if her feet really are “backwards” without seeing and x-ray. Looks like the dorsal side of her feet (top pf foot) is hyper flexed in plantar position(downward). You can recognize the “top” of her feet by her toes and toe nails. The plantar (soles) side of her feet are turned under. So, it looks like her feet are backwards, but they’re hyperflexed, plantar.
It would be cool to see what her x-rays looked like, to see the positioning of her bones. This will tell us if her feet are backwards or turned over. I wonder if she had a collegen/cartilage defect as a child, and her feet developed that way do to no rehabilitative treatment.
