You know how radio personalities never look quite like how you imagine them to look by the sound of their voice? Like when you might think that a radio DJ is a very clean-shaven hunk of a man by the sound of his voice, but then you see a photo of him on his bio page on the radio’s website and you’re like, “OMG! THIS IS A CAVE MAN!!!” Yeah, that’s always a surprise isn’t it?
When I first watched this video of 14 year-old Charice Pempengco from the Philippines, I was just floored. I couldn’t believe that sound was coming out of this little girl! I pretty much had the same emotions go through my body after watching the video as I do when I see a radio personality in a photo; an utter mismatch of looks to the sound of a voice.

I thought she was fake at first, but then after checking out her other videos I was convinced she is the real deal. Check out her other videos. Amazing! It is people like her that should be on American Idol. Too bad she is still too young to be a contestant.

i have watched one of her interviews in Philippines and oh my “with that kind of heart she possessed it was enough to called her amazing! her brilliant voice is just a bonus! ” WOW!
She is currently in the US ( Dec 18, 2007) taping on the Ellen Degenres show. Said that its’ gonna be aired on the following day. Watch for it guys.
