This is a near-reality sketch of the Honda Pilot prototype that is supposed to be introduced at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2008. As with all prototype/concept sketches, the wheels on this vehicle are exaggerated to look more “rugged”. But of course, everybody and their grandma knows that when this car makes it to production, the wheels that will come with it are going to look more like the wheels on a Toyota Prius.
It’s interesting to note that the upcoming Honda Pilot looks like it will sport a longer moon/sun roof that extends at least up until the first back-row seats. It’s also reported that the new Pilot will retain its 8-seater capacity which will be nice.
Look closely, however, and you’ll see that this “sketch” is a bit fishy. It actually looks like they just airbrushed some pencil marks and smears over an image (or at least a render) of the actual production Pilot. Who knows…
This is what the current Pilot looks like.
DON’T LIKE!
and yeah…fishy image for sure, although i’m not sure about it being sketched on top of the existing pilot. maybe it’s just a sucky drawing. anyway, looks like a ford escape. i like ours more. the wheels are the best thing going for it right now, but then again, they’re the typical “concept vehicle” wheels so they might as well be imaginary.
well if this is an pencil sketch then no doubt this exceptional ,but its very hard to beleive that this is an pencil sketch
