Before I begin, I just want to say that I refuse to spell color with a “u”. It’s just unncessary and it makes me feel silly.
Ok, now that that’s out of the way, let me start off with a story of how some of my white clothes became pink. So just the other day, I had to do some laundry. Being the lazy and cost-effective person that I am, I usually wait until about the last minute (basically, one pair of socks, one pair of underwear) before I do a load of laundry. It’s just too expensive for me to do laundry every week. Anyway, so I did laundry last week and I accidentally threw in a new shirt that had a red-printed logo on it (the shirt itself was white-ish, but the logo part was deep red).
Not thinking it through, I threw in all of the other white-colored laundry into the washer and started the wash. Sure enough, after that load was finished, I took out my clothes and more than half of them were ruined and PINK!!
OH MY GOD!, I thought. This was just about the last thing I wanted to happen to me. I immediately started thinking that I would just have to deal with having a good portion of my clothes pink-colored…
I guess that wasn’t so bad, but I really didn’t want to walk around with a shirt on that clearly looked like I was an imbecile in the laundry room. And so I asked a co-worker of mine what she does when that happens to her and she told me about this product that takes care of that. She couldn’t remember the name, but she told me that it’s always in the laundry detergent section in the grocery stores.
So off I went to Safeway and immediately into the laundry detergent aisle. Sure enough, after reading every single label of every single product on the shelves, I saw Dylon Colour Safe Run Away. Figuring that this might be the product I needed, I bought it and went home to give it a try…

And it works well! Normally, the laundry room is reserved for subtle emotions, but for once, after emptying the washer of this load, I was just astonished, to say the least. I couldn’t believe that my once-white-turned-pink clothes were now completely white again! It was just amazing!
Here’s what one of the T-shirts looked like in a before and after shot. As you can see, the pink-colored tee completely went back to white after just one wash with the Dylon Colour Safe Run Away. I’ve now cemented this product in my mind as one of the greatest products ever invented. Period.

What’s the US equivalent of this? There must be one…
