WANT: Casio EXILIM EX-F1 can shoot at 1200 fps

Back in October of last year, I posted a demonstration video of a mystery Casio camera that supposedly could shoot video at 300 fps. The video that went along with that post got me all hyped for this camera because, well, there really isn’t a camera like it in its class.
Introducing, the Casio EXILIM EX-F1, a 6 megapixel point-and-shoot camera that can shoot 60 fps at full resolution. Not only that, the camera can also do — and this is not a typo — 1200 fps if you drop the image sizes to 336 x 96. Sure, they’re small photos, but seriously, where can you get 1200 fps goodness like that?!
And when you think that’s impressive, keep in mind also that this camera can shoot HD video (1920 x 1080) at 60 fps, which will still give you a slow-motion effect if desired.
Check out some videos of it working splendidly below!

@ 600 fps
@ 300 fps
If you’re curious, the EXILIM EX-F1 will be available March 2008 at a retail price of $999.99. YouTube is going to get a lot more funny and interesting once everything is in HD slow-motion.
