The Broadway show Rent will close on June 1 of this year. As you can imagine, final show tickets are probably selling at an alarming rate…at least that’s what I’d imagine (I have no proof of this).
This is pretty cool news: The tall Verizon switching station (the “building with no windows”) at 375 Pearl Street in lower Manhattan will soon have 29 of its 32 floors converted into condominiums. That’s not really the cool news. The cool news is that because of this drastic change in building structure, most of the building will be opened up to spectacular views of the city for any persons willing to pay the premium living price. Supposedly, this change will make that area of Manhattan more “friendly”.
