By now, most of you know that I own a pair of Reebok Ventilator UO sneakers. I love them and I think the sneaker itself is very comfortable (it’s excellent for running). Anyway the Reebok Ventilator Elements shown above are pretty.
Here’s a time lapse of a sunset coming over New York City. This is 6th Avenue, right where Yung Kee is. Awesome! [via]

I absolutely love these photos of Disney scenes with famous people shot by Annie Leibovitz.
I find this urban myth/phenomenon about stalled cars near the Empire State Building to be very amusing. Who knows, maybe it is the abundance of radio signals in the area that’s causing the cars to go haywire.
I’m looking for a really good and easy to use gallery plugin/manager for Wordpress. Anybody know of any good ones that aren’t too hard to configure? If you do, leave a comment and I’ll check it out.
Also, I’ve been exploring some new RSS feeds via Google Reader’s recommendation section. I love that it’s more or less spot-on in terms of what it thinks I might like to read. It’s scary to think that a computer algorithm can know me so well based on my current reading habits, but then it just makes me think that I’m going to be growing up with machines helping me make better choices and I smile and say “Ahh, GOOD!”.
Anyway, if you use Google Reader extensively, you should give the recommendations a try. See how accurate they are for you!
A constantly growing list of derogatory names for cities worldwide. Here’s a good one so far: I once saw (here on MeFi IIRC) New York City referred to as “New York Çity”, which stuck with me just for its cleverness. (The “Ç” is, in some languages, pronounced roughly like “sh”.)

My goodness! A composition hat! Buy it at Sold Out for an insane amount of money!
