Tonight, I went to a cricket game between notorious rivals Australia and India. I don’t follow cricket at all, mostly because every time I catch it on TV, I just can’t seem to stop myself from laughing at how ridiculous it looks to play.
Anyway, funny or not, the cricket game I went to was pretty high profile, so the crowd was exciting and that definitely attributed towards my liking of the game.
It was a Twenty20 type cricket game, which means that it was quicker and thus more like the length of traditional sports in most other countries (a friend tells me that “regular” cricket games can last several DAYS). As it turns out, team Australia is actually a very good team internationally and they kicked India’s butt, going on to eventually win the game.

Haha yeah, Australia kicked arse in the match. you’re lucky to go to a twenty/20 game too, you’d never get a 85,000 crowd if it was any other style of cricket match
oh yeah the original style of cricket ‘test match’ goes for a maximum of 5 days (runs shorter if a team wins sooner than that), but yeah after 5 days it’s still possible to have a draw!
