Robert Wechsler’s carousel of bicycles

Robert Wechsler, a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, puts a new spin on the meaning of riding around in circles.
In this 2003 project, Wechsler constructs a carousel out of 9 salvaged bikes. The result is a somewhat portable carousel capable of fitting 9 people for a ride…to nowhere. This looks like fun!

Here’s a link to another one of his projects where he made a circle by following the natural curve in a line of shopping carts.
