Possible Arrested Development movie in the works

Jason Bateman (Michael Bluth in Arrested Development) has confirmed, along with Jeffrey Tambor (George Bluth, Sr.), that there are initial talks of an Arrested Development movie in the making.
According to Bateman, the creative minds behind Arrested Development (Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard) have already begun to make phone calls to cast members asking if they’d be interested in making a movie. Apparently, Universal Studios is interested in putting the production into motion.
Arrested Development was a comedy TV series on Fox that ended prematurely just after 3 seasons. Since the cancellation, the series has seen a huge rally behind it to get the show started again. Unfortunately, and for reasons not clearly known, the show has no intention to continue from where it left off. Hopefully, the movie gets a green light through to production and filming!
