Steven Spielberg has teamed up with Electronic Arts (EA) to make a video game for the Nintendo Wii called BOOM BLOX.
BOOM BLOX is more or less a virtual Jenga set on your television screen. The game was developed with the help of Steven Spielberg mostly to incorporate a “real” sense of how blocks should fall and explode around each other. Since Spielberg is a master at this type of stuff in movies, it wasn’t too far-fetched of an idea to get him in on a game that sort of (ok, very loosely) incorporates this. Read more about the game from EA’s press release.
From the video above, this looks to be like a very fun group game for the Wii. The game is expected to be released sometime in May 2008. Whee!

Like most Nintendo games, BOOM BLOX includes a bunch of odd game characters…like this chicken.
What is the point of this game???? to destroy things?
RE: corey
it’s a bunch of puzzles and crap. it’s like warioware, but with a jenga tower that can fall.
