If you’ve never watched Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (which I briefly mention in this post and this post), then you won’t really understand the image above.
For those who are curious, King Shisa (or sometimes known as King Caesar, King Seesar, or King Seeser) is the beast that helps Godzilla win against Mechagodzilla. ROAR! Hahahahaha.

Yay! Someone else who actually calls him by his real name ^_^ ! I hate it when other ‘devout’ Daikaiju fans still call him by the lame American translation of King Ceasar.
I love King Shiisa! I actually tracked down the song that the girl uses to wake him up, aka Miyarabi’s Prayer, because I love it so much from the movie. I actually think this movie is one of the better ones in the Godzilla series, along with Godzilla vs. Hedora (aka the Smog Monster) but at the same time is somewhat less disturbing than Hedora was (the one where it turns into the airborne monster and skeletonizes the ironworker always gave me nightmares when I was younger- that scene was seriously traumatizing for me) And at the same time, it wasn’t as silly as, say, Godzilla vs Gigan was.
