Obey The Yellow PSA

Here in Melbourne, the Victorian Government has started to roll out a massive public service ad campaign aimed at changing the way drivers operate their vehicles next to tram lines.
For those who aren’t familiar with the city of Melbourne, the city is set up so that tram lines run alongside car traffic. The tram lines are in the center of the road while cars travel on each side of the tram. As you can imagine, this makes some turning situations a bit hard and even dangerous (both to drivers and pedestrians).
See this post I made back in September about what can happen when a car mistakenly passes onto tram traffic. It happens more often that you’d think.
Anyway, the PSA by the Victorian Government is called “Obey The Yellow” and it features a CGI “man” with a yellow line down the center of his body (I say “man” because it’s hard to tell what he is really…he has no bulge and he has no boobs). But yeah, sometimes it’s funny because the government has plastered this man-with-a-yellow-line on many tram exteriors and sometimes when you walk by a tram, THE CROTCH IS THIS BIG IN YOUR FACE.
The yellow line indicates a side of moving traffic that cars are supposed to be on, despite casual indifference to this rule. I see drivers crossing this line all the time.
Watch the PSAs below.
