Huh! Who knew that those silver water sample boxes in NYC were actually still in use?
I’ve never personally seen anybody from the city test the water using these boxes, but apparently the task is still done today. For some reason, I thought the inside of these boxes would be a bit more glamorous, but then again, it’s just for testing water. It’s not like there should be crazy circuit boards in there or anything.
And there you go. Now you know what the interiors of those silver street sidewalk boxes look like.
