Taking advantage of errors in Mario 64 to win the game

WHAT THE HECK!

I’m still baffled at what I just watched. This Mario 64 speed-run shows that you can technically beat Mario 64 by abusing all of the game’s programming errors. As a result of this technique, it is possible to beat Mario 64 with just one star in a little over 6 minutes (recorded time being “06:42.65″).

The entire process requires a precise control of all of Mario’s jumps, an extremely excellent use of camera angle switching, and a total disregard for Mario’s health.

This is by far the most impressive Mario run-through I’ve ever seen (although this video still holds the title as the funniest).
