Actually, Nike is a greek name for a goddess, so the word or pronounciation has nothing to do with an American company that sells shoes. With that said, I say Nike like Mike, because Nike-ee sounds really gay.

I’m romanian from Romania, EU. People i my country always pronounce naik but i prefere naiki like ee to end.

I’m Canadian, have always said it without the “ee” at the end, even though I know it’s incorrect. Everyone I know does the same. “Nike-ee” sounds childish, as most words associated with that sound and structure are related to children.

I’m aussie, I say it the correct way. Defiantly have to agree with you though and the rest of the aussie population say it incorrectly

well Nike is an american brand.. so the correct pronunciation will be the american pronunciation! they can’t argue with that! haha.. unless it turns out that nike isn’t an american brand haha

they do this in england too. my cousins received some strange looks from me the first time i heard them say it… and they thought i was wrong! haha
