Danny playing Czardas (Csardas) by Vittorio Monti
This is my friend Danny. You might have seen him commenting on various posts lately here on Doobybrain.com. This is a video of him playing a Czardas by Monti (probably one of the more famous Czardas ever written).
Anyway, I still remember sophomore year in high school when I saw him sitting in orchestra (he was a freshman) and me going up to him and asking him if he used to live in Miami (I recognized him from random violin things back when I used to live there as well). He didn’t remember me (I didn’t really expect him to) but over the course of our high school and college years, we became pretty good friends and kept in touch even after he moved back to Japan. He’s still probably one of the best violinist I know.
Here’s another video of him playing the same song with accompaniment.
And although this isn’t a typical “CRAZY JAPANESE” post, I’ll still file it under “Japanese” because, well, Danny is Japanese.
