Swiss Air jet bouncing on the runway

Holy crap, screw the video of the Lufthansa A320 making a troubled landing attempt!

Check out this video of a Swiss Air jet making a very bumpy landing at London City Airport on the afternoon of January 17, 2008!!! [via]

That plane is qualified to be a carnival ride. Again, the reason why this plane landed in such high fashion was because the airport had high crosswinds, making the touchdown incredibly difficult.

yo dooby, london city has a glide slope of 5.5 degrees where most airports such as LAX, YSSY, EGLL etc. has a glide slope of 3 degrees. Hence when this plane first comes in it looks steeper than usual. rock on.

danny

its obviously genius engineering to see that those wheels didnt explode or break off the plane on impact with the runway..
