RollTube: Turn every YouTube video into a Rickroll!
RollTube - the rick roll firefox extension from fffffat labs on Vimeo.
RollTube is the BEST Firefox add-on out there at the moment. The idea behind it is simple: to replace any YouTube video with the Rick Astley hit “Never Gonna Give You Up”. [via]
For those who don’t know, a Rickroll is when somebody online posts a link or a quote in a discussion that seems to have some sort of relevance to the topic at hand, but upon clicking the link, the video for “Never Gonna Give You Up” is shown (which usually has nothing to do with the original discussion). It’s a hilarious (and somewhat annoying) internet meme.
Once installed, RollTube will basically create utter confusion for any user at a computer. The best part about the Firefox add-on is that it can easily be installed on any computer without administrative privileges.
Just think about how funny this would be once it’s installed on every computer at your university computer lab or on every computer at the Apple Store!

Well, my boyfriend’s computer has been replacing ever youtube video with Rickroll. He does not have the extension installed. I’ve tried reinstalling firefox many times, along with Flash player. Maxthon is fine, so it’s only Firefox. What the fuck is the problem?
