Vacation photos: Sydney Opera House

sydney-opera-house.jpg

In my seemingly never-ending quest to post all of my “recent” vacation photos, here are some pictures of the Sydney Opera House during my time with Flo in Sydney, Australia.

I didn’t know this prior to arriving at the Opera House, but the roof of the Sydney Opera House is actually a beautiful tiled pattern. For some reason I had always thought that the exterior was constructed in some metallic shiny silver. Up until that point, most of the photos I’ve seen of the Opera House showed the roof glimmering in the sunlight, and I just assumed that the shiny surface was most similar to polished steel.

More pictures inside.

Doesn’t this photo of the roof look like a big bra?

The Opera House really is a wonderful looking building on all sides.

This is the last shot of the Opera House that I got as our plane flew over Sydney and back to Melbourne.

Mama gave Mun and I $100 each just to put together a 3-d puzzle of the Sydney Opera House. It was actually kind of hard and kept collapsing.
