How often do you hear that? A house crashing into a bridge.

This unusual event occurred on March 21, 2008 in Calico Rock, Arkansas during some of the worst Midwest flooding situations in recent history. The house was uprooted from its foundation and floated down the swollen river until it was demolished by the bridge.

In addition to the rain, the Midwest has also seen heavy snowfall which has canceled many flights in and out of the area. The National Weather Service is predicting a record 39 feet of water in the Meramec River in Missouri before the end of the storm. Sadly, it sounds like the worst hasn’t hit just yet.
