Tay Zonday delivers a Rickroll (sings Never Gonna Give You Up)

Tay Zonday, the YouTube phenomenon behind hits like “Chocolate Rain” (which I mentioned briefly here) and “Cherry Chocolate Rain” covered the Rick Astley song “Never Gonna Give You Up”.

Tay Zonday originally uploaded the song to his account, but then removed it. But several other YouTube users have graciously uploaded the song for us to hear [and fear].

Tay’s signature deep singing voice makes “Never Gonna Give You Up” sound so weird. Plus, it doesn’t help that Tay is reading a prompt and looking very dazed.

Now, if only Rick Astley would make a cover of “Chocolate Rain”.
