Late in 2007, Keane released a single entitled “The Night Sky” that talked about war from a child’s perspective. The single was released in part with War Child, an organization that helps children in war-torn areas.

The single was released on CD in December 2007 along with two other tracks, “Under Pressure” (a cover of the song by the same name by Queen and David Bowie) and “Put It Behind You (Ffrisco Mix)”. But the track that truly stands out is “The Night Sky”.

I know some people who didn’t really like Keane’s sophomore album Under The Iron Sea because of the slight change in their musical style. But if you’re longing to hear Keane’s original sound again, then you’ll definitely find it in “The Night Sky”. It’s a beautiful song.
