T-1000 1:2 scale bust with hole through the head

It sucks that it’s sold out, but man I’d totally be interested in buying this 1:2 scale bust of Robert Patrick’s T-1000 character from Terminator 2.

I’d buy it and then put it on my desk at work. Then I would proceed to chuckle under my breath at how awesome it is to have T-1000 guarding my paperwork.

This particular bust was sculpted by Jeff Yagher in 2005 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The T-1000 shown here is cast in solid, high-quality polystone and is mounted on a base full of skulls. The T-1000 is sculpted with a gaping hole through the head.

And just for fun, this is how many times WordPress 2.5 has been downloaded. You can also test-drive WP 2.5 here by logging in with username/password: admin/demo.

Reporter interviews the author of her own biography

March 30, 2008 @ 2:49 am

It amazes me time and time again how well The Onion can parody the look of an actual TV station news program.

In the video above, we see fictional Today Now! anchor Tracy Gill talking with the author of the biography about herself. I love how this entire segment seems so believable. It’s top-notch acting and production work.

Be sure to pay attention to the “DID YOU KNOW?” tidbits at the bottom of the screen.

On the obsolete PS/2 port: “Sadly, PS/2 was yet another victim of USB, which doesn’t care what you plug into it, the electrical slut.”

That alone should make you want to read CNET’s list of 10 top obsolete computer ports. [via]
