Everybody is talking about Iron Man being this Summer’s big blockbuster hit, but I honestly think The Dark Knight is going to be a better film.
Here are some new posters for the movie which comes out July 17 (the posters say July 18…)!

Coldplay’s next album entitled Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2008 (in North America). The band recently sent an email out with instructions on how to download their first single from the album called “Violet Hill”.
To save you all the trouble of going to the Coldplay download page and giving away your email address just to get the song, I’ve uploaded the song so you can just download it freely.

Also, if you’re curious, Sleevage has some basic information about the artwork featured on the upcoming album (not the single). If anybody reading this has ever taken an art history class, you’ll know that the artwork is “Liberty Leading The People” by Eugène Delacroix.

The New Scientist is reporting on a new modular robot developed by researchers at the University of Pennsylvania that can automatically recognize and reassemble itself after it breaks apart.
Does this not remind you of the robot in The Iron Giant?
The modular robot works very much in the same way that the Iron Giant does in fact. It sends out a blinking signal that the other pieces respond to. And [very] slowly the robot comes together all by itself.
Man, in a couple of years, robots will probably just build themselves. Kinda like how it all goes down in I, Robot.

Here is a high frame rate video of a rattlesnake in strike mode attacking something out of frame. The entire body of the snake simply launches straight up into the air.
Look at the way the tail moves in the video below! Incredible!
