I just saw this foosball table at Core77 and my mouth just dropped. Normally, foosball tables are boxy, wooden game items that don’t really contribute to the beauty of a room. They’re there purely for fun and entertainment. But 11 is a 180-degree look on the design of the modern football table.
Designed by GRO Design and developed by TIM model makers, the 11 football table was chosen as the object to renew for the Milan Design Fair because of its lack in design innovation over the years. The resulting 11 football table is a complete gem.

The figures on the foosball table are modeled using solid brass and then polished to a shiny chrome finish. The figures are then inked with red dots to fill in the number on the “chest”. As you will hear in the video below, the solid brass poles provide a fine “ding” sound each time the figures come into contact with the ball.
You’ll also see that the playing field on the foosball table is lit. This is done to draw attention to the spectacle of the game itself.
The 11 football table being thoroughly enjoyed.
