Claude the bear can twirl sticks, cannot do Kung-Fu
An Asiatic Black bear named Claude at the Asa Zoo in Hiroshima, Japan has an odd ability to twirl sticks! Claude arrived at the zoo about 6 years ago after his mother was killed in the wild. Zookeepers say that Claude just began twirling the sticks once he arrived at the zoo and that he was never trained to do such a stunt.
Pretty much all major news outlets who have reported this story are calling Claude the “Kung-Fu bear”. But honestly, if twirling a stick means that somebody has the ability to do Kung-Fu, then man, the whole world must know Kung-Fu. I wonder if the Kung-Fu reference would have ever come up if the bear was not in a zoo in Japan (or any Asian country).
