Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds without the birds

Martijn Hendriks, a video installation artist currently working in Amsterdam, has a series of ongoing images (still and moving) entitled “Give Us Today Our Daily Terror” in which he replicates Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds without any of the birds. [via]
If you’ve seen the classic film, you’ll know how many birds there were in the movie and just how arduous the task is to edit out all of the birds. Hendriks does an amazing job taking every single black winged species out of these film frames.

If you think the images are impressive, you need to check out the videos (one, two, and three), all of which look like Alfred Hitchcock shot the movie without putting any birds in.
