This is so cool. To celebrate the rich history of the Adidas Superstar shoe, Adidas has made a pair of super-sized Superstar sneakers and invited artists from the East and West coasts of the United States to decorate and create works of art with them.
This large sneaker campaign will be slowly unraveled throughout 2008, but you can already watch the Superstar film below.
The two groups of artists invited to participate in this event are Surface 2 Air (from NYC / East Coast) and Upper Playground (LA / West Coast).
