Secret seats on airplanes

Peter Greenberg shows us the details of “secret seats” on airplanes that give you more legroom and easier access while boarding and exiting the aircraft.

Here’s the rundown:

  • On a Cathay Pacific 747, ask for seats 67K or 68K.
  • On an American Airlines 767, ask for seats 17H or 17J (domestic flights only).
  • On an American Airlines 757, ask for seats 10F or 10A.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!

This is sooooooooo true! I got the one on Cathay Pacific once! The best 17hour flight I ever had! And then of course the 10F one on the 757 was so cool. I was shocked to see no seat in front of me at all. It was so weird and so good at the same time. Other passengers actually looked at me with faces of disbelief that such a chair existed. Glad to know how I can repeat these experiences next time I fly :-)
