Here’s an image of the world’s first digital camera invented by Steven J. Sasson under the supervision of Eastman Kodak in 1975. [via]

The camera was heavy, weighing in at 8-pounds and taking about 23 seconds to record an image and another 23 seconds to read the image from the digital tape. This is cool. :)
