The All Streets road map is a map of the various streets and roads that make up the continental United States. There are no state border lines and any lines that show a state’s border are actually road lines that go around a state’s geographic features (mountain, hill, etc.).
The darker areas show a higher concentration of roads than the lighter areas. The map shows 26 million individual road segments.
Check out Ben Fry’s All Streets project for more in-depth information and images concerning specific regions.
