Doom, the first-person shooter that changed the world of gaming, is now developing the 4th title in the series. Parent company id Software has posted a message on their website saying that they are now hiring the most talented people in the industry in order to make Doom 4 as amazing as possible.

I remember when Doom 3 came out and I first played it, I was genuinely freaked out. It was the first computer game ever to do that to me, and if Doom 4 is an extension of that same quality of gaming, then there’s no doubt it’ll be awesome.

The screenshot above is reportedly taken from early development of Doom 4 (but there is no confirmation of such from id Software).
