New York State’s new I Love New York logo

Milton Glaser’s famous I Love New York logo seen on countless numbers of T-shirts, mugs, books, and souvenirs has gotten a new update to encourage tourism in New York State.
The original logo, created in 1977, remains more or less intact with the exception of a newly added butterfly and some green grass. There’s a report that the new logo also sports a squirrel, but I don’t see it on the official NY tourism website.
Contrary to popular belief, the I Love New York logo is meant to promote tourism state-wide, not just in New York City. The new logo is hoping to encourage people — both in-state and out-of-state — to come to other areas of New York (the butterfly and green grass are supposed to remind people that NY is more than just city).
