Twistori: How is Twitter feeling today?
About 2 years ago, I wrote an entry about a site called We Feel Fine that collects data from the internet based on people’s emotional states and displays it in 6 different ways. All of the data was sortable by various fields including sex, age, and location.
Now, a new site by the name of Twistori, created by Amy Hoy and Thomas Fuchs, is aiming to showcase data on how the internet is feeling via Twitter messages. Twistori can display Twitter messages based on the keywords love, hate, think, believe, feel, and wish.
The results are displayed as an ongoing list that scrolls up as new messages roll in.

I completely forgot about We Feel Fine. It is really neat to look at the different ways that people display data. The way that they can give meaning to a seemingly random string of characters and phrases.
