Steven Curtis Chapman’s daughter, Maria, killed by car

Maria, Steven Curtis Chapman’s youngest daughter, was struck and killed by a car in the family’s driveway on Wednesday. The car was being driven by her teenage brother.

Steven Curtis Chapman is a multi-award winning Christian singer/songwriter who is a strong supporter of international adoption. Maria was adopted by Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife Mary Beth from China.

Maria Sue Chapman was 5 years old.
