Reversed “Buddy Holly” (by Weezer)
The music video to “Buddy Holly” by Weezer was one of the first music videos I remember watching. It was one of the multimedia videos featured on the Windows 95 CD and I used to pop the CD into my computer whenever I was bored just to watch the video. I’ve seen the video countless times since then and every time I watch it, I get all nostalgic.
It’s interesting for me to watch the reversed video above because it totally plays with my memory of how the song goes. The images that appear before me seem to be familiar, but really they aren’t because the sequence is all out of whack. Even so, the reversed “Buddy Holly” video is fun to watch, which I guess goes to show how awesome this video is.
